CMrs. Becklev sought a writ of man- j damus to compel the Board of Edu- • cation to rj-instate her in her oldf position or to assign her to teach 9th grade English in a JuniQT high school or to teach English in a senior high school. •The Board of Education denied that the transfer of Mrs. Beckley wasj a demotion. It claims that it was I made for the good of the service. .Mrs. Becklev was a- teacher of 9th; grade English in Shaw Junior High' School. She is assigned to teach 8th and 9th grade English and Ancient Hlstorv in Randall Junior Hi School.At the time *-vhcr anoointment.
