Two Persons Die In Road Mishaps In Area FridayTraffic mishaps claimed two lives in the Big Spring area Friday.Paul Hoglund, 43, civilian employe at Webb Air Force Base,was killed when a car overturned on US 80 about 19 mils east of Big Spring Friday afternoon. S-Sgt Norman Nelson Anderson of Flourtown. Pa., who is stationedat Webb AFB, was injured.Sgt. Anderson, who was driving the car. was brought to the Webb AFB hospital for treatment of cuts, bruises and shock. He apparentlylost control of the car and the machine left the highway and overturned. Mitchell County officersinvestigated.Janies Clifford Cunningham, truck driver of Oklahoma City, was injured fatally in a car-truck collision about 25 miles northeast ofBig Spring on Highway 350. Cunningham died in a Snyder hospital at 8 45 p.m., a little over four hoursafter the crash.Ralph Evans of Snyder, driver of the car. was dismissed fromthe hospital following treatment for cuts and bruises.Hoglund is survived by his wife. Mrs. Vina Christine Hoglund. who is a nurse at the Webb AFB hospital; two sons Paul Hoglund Jr.. and William David Hoglund; and one daughter. Janice Hoglund. He also leaves two sisters, Mrs Agnes White of Carrizo Springs, and Mrs.Dagmar Burgess of San Anton' .The body was taken by Eberley Funeral Home to Carrizo Springs for burial. Services probably willbe conducted there Sunday afternoon.The Hoglund family came to Big Spring from Robert Lee about seven months ago. He had been doing office machine repair work there and accepted a similar position at Webb AFB. The family resided at 707 Johnson Street here.
