Mr. James C. EatonMr. James C. Eaton, 73, of Lewistown, died Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, at Frederick Memorial Hospital.Born Nov. 18, 1936, he was the son of the late James C. and Olive F. Eaton.He is survived bv his wife of 39 years, Emma P. Eaton; and three sons, James B. Eaton and wife, Debbie, of Pittsburgh, John R. Eaton of Portland, Ore., and Joseph W. Eaton and wife, Karen, of Frederick. He also leaves four grandchildren, Audrey and Samantha Eaton of Pittsburgh, and Merryn and Silas Eaton of Frederick. He is survived by his sister, Cecelia Luschnig qj Moscow, Idaho, and by nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by bis brother, John Eaton in 2008.Jim was a chemical engineer who worked in biomedical research at Fort Detrick prior to his retirement. 1 le was an avid bridge player who loved to play, direct and teach the game. I le was a formerBoy Scout leader and enjoyed outdoor activities. 1 le was also a dedicated photographer.Jim donated his body to science, so there will be no visitation or funeral at this time. There will he a celebration of his life at a later date, and also a graveside interment service for all those who have donated their bodies as Jim did.Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
