Zimbabwe hit by cholera

Zimbabwe has requested urgent international aid for a growing cholera outbreak which has killed more than 500 people in the African nation. The disease, which travels through contaminated food and water, is spreading rapidly through polluted rivers and ground wells. Zimbabwe’s capital city, Harare, does not currently have running water as the government is unable to purchase the chemicals needed to clean tap water.
